I think i'm going to get post-bowling withdrawal synptoms soon. This was came up by my intelligent father last year. Last week wasn't too bad because i practically went out with the bowlers every single day of the week. I'm going to miss the j2s, i'm serious about it, just when we were about to know each other better. We have capers to look forward to, all those studying sessions!

Had a really good trash talk with bowling coach wannabe haha. For 2 whole hours, we just sat at level one of heeren and crapped all the way. Ac was really nice to give the bowlers a day off, but thank goodness i stayed in school until my lessons finished at 12.50pm because i know some stuff that was mention today would help me in my tests next week.

I finally got my jimmy eat world cd.
I realize i don't post any photos up on my blog anymore, because they are all in facebook.

A last minute decision to eat ice cream at island creamery led to DDR and guitar hero at kenneth's house until 10pm man. Not forgetting project work at king albert park somewhere in the middle.

And i was suppose to be studying today.
DDR was an awesome fat-burning session man, was so tired out after just 2 songs.

and now i'm hungry, because i didn't eat dinner =(

Right now it's 11.20pm and i'm freaking out because...
i think my old injury is back again. I'm back to wearing my knee guard just in case anything happens. It hurts like #*$()&$ now. I just hope it's a false alarm and goes away by tomorrow morning.

I'm starting to lose hope, no not in A division, but in something else. Blame it on myself not being perfect enough.

LIFE SUCKS.

I am AWFULLY tired man.
today was doubles. All i can say is... easier said than done. But i felt i bowled better than tuesday in terms of mentality and technique. It's just that i got too many splits in every single game and didn't manage to cover them up.

OH WELL.
it's not over. 6 more crucial games.

A really big thank you to a few of you in the guys team who supported me and sarah! Really appreciate it! Because you don't know how much supporters can affect your game. Especially when you come from a girls team in secondary school which ALWAYS had supporters behind players. Me and sarah came to this conclusion that you bowl better when you have supporters behind your lane, no matter how many. Plus they make you laugh and keep pressure off of you.

FIGHT ON BOWLERS.
2 more days, 6 more games = able to skip school for 2 days.

church service today was surprisingly... meaningful. After the message people were randomly called out because the pastor had a word for each of them. Never would i expect my name to be called out. The message to me is this, 'i'm like a piece of paper which is rolled up, unwilling to open up and to be used. I should not try to control my life, but allow the lord to lead and guide me'.

wow. This message is really for me. I try to control my life most of the time, yet i forsake his goodness along the way. Truly, he lives.

emo-ing

Funny how facebook can get so many people to be so curious about you at one time. I'm fine really, it's just one of my emo-ing moments coming back again. Funny how people look at you thinking that you are all so cheerful but they may not know deep inside there's something really making me so depressed and upset. And i'm not talking about team line-ups, i'm completely fine with that. I've learnt my lesson last year, this year i just want to have fun and cheer my teammates on. Talking about team line-ups brings back really good memories! i remembered last year i was crying my heart out to jac over the phone and we talked like for what, 4 hours until my phone ran out of battery. Next day i was emo-ing all by myself in the library studying for a bio test.

OMG I'M EMO-ING YET AGAIN

I think i've been neglecting him for a really long time. I need to, have to, must get back on track.

fun-o-rama

FUN-O-RAMA was... tiring. really tiring, but overall it was quite enjoyable! Having attended the last 2 fun-o-ramas and finally being able to be part of organising this year's one really feels good.

plus i met alot of people whom i haven't seen in AGES!

our takoyaki stall did quite well! long long queues.

Ac was kind enough to give us half day off today. went out to lunch with the bowlers. oh wait OMG I FINALLY FINISHED RUNNING 2.4KM! FINALLY! NO MORE RUNNING TILL NEXT YEAR MAN! my timing was crap but still manage to get a silver!

went over to nj to watch the nj vs ac soccer match. met people i haven't met in a really long time! THE TWO FREAKS!

I shall try to blog every week from today onwards.
Anyway, i'm really bursting out with things to say, so this post shall be a shoutout post to ALOT of people.

Firstly, To the bowling team:
It has only been, like what less than 3 months? Yet i already feel so emotionally attached and bonded to the team! I really don't know what my life will be in ac if i didn't join the team. I'm blessed with awesome seniors, those who would cheer you on and give you encouragements, and really lame fellow j1s, who will never fail to make you laugh when you are down. Each and everyone of you are just awesome! We are such a cool team yo. Why? because we have 2 clan heads and 2007 a div girls champion. People are watching us with envy man!

To the mg people in ac:
Ah... i don't know what i'll do without you guys. All our gossip and bitching sessions at the void deck are just, well, never ending! I don't know what i'll do without you guys! Yes, that includes you vany, and shitface rah. Hanging out with fellow classmate, charphang, is just hilarious man. Our lame games are just, lame. Especially the popularity game where you walk around the void deck area and see how many people wave to you haha.

AHH. I'm missing those times in mg where 10 of us would have recess together without fail. Now that we are in different jcs, it's ~~very~~ damn hard to meet up.
I MISS YOU JAC CHOW! AND SHAN! I haven't seen you guys in ages.

remember this? haha was really upset when i heard you put rj as your first choice.

bored.

I'M DYING OF BOREDOM AT HOME.
like seriously.

really wanted to go to school today, but i had a slight fever when i woke up this morning, so i went back to sleep. Last night was the worst night ever. I felt nauseas, plus i had an incredibly high fever, not forgetting my throat which was so swollen i felt as if it would block my passageway and i'll suffocate to death.

feeling much better right now, i think i'm recovering already because i would always get a high fever after breakfast, but today i didn't!

Orientation 2 starts tomorrow! But i guess it won't be the same as Orientation 1, you guys must must MUST come back to ac okay. I'm praying really hard for you guys. Coincidentally, my birthday is tomorrow too! hah. but i'm not really aniticipating anything because my stupid virus and the 'unexpected' events are overshadowing my supposedly joyous mood. I just hope i get through tomorrow without getting any high fevers or fainting during games.

it's only been 3 days but i've been missing you guys! see you people in school tmr!

SICK.

MY BLOG IS DEAD.

I HAVE FALLEN SICK.

Second time i had to visit the doctor ever since school term started. And what a bad timing to fall sick on my birthday and orientation week. This is the second time i really feel that dying is the only option to get rid of the stupid pain haha. the first was at the beginning of primary 6 where i couldn't even get out of bed because of some stupid virus i got.

Went to the doctor yesterday and found out i have Tonsillitis, inflammation of the throat. I thought those white spots in my mouth were ulcers, but they turned out to be pus?!?! Plus i have this huge lump growing out of my neck. And i get high fever every now and then. My throat hurts like #($*)($&*$. Even drinking just a sip of water seems like the hardest thing to do. All i do is eat and sleep the whole day, plus take these antibiotic pills twice the size of usual ones. ahh. i really do feel like dying. seriously.

anyway,

I couldn't have done this without you lord, all the ups and downs i experienced last year, it was you who brought me through all of it. I remembered when people were busy doing last minute revisions before entering the exam hall, i was reading his word, and his assurance he would give me.

lol, i know this is stupid, but i started crying really badly when zhixin and mel went on stage. Same thing happened when we got back our chinese subjects in sec 3. I don't know, it's just that maybe i have known them for the longest time i really feel happy for them to see them do so well.

On friday, ac was so nice to give us a holiday, so we had an og outing at botanical gardens.

everlasting, your light will shine when all else fades...
This verse of the song has been stuck in my head ever since after last monday's chapel. And i thought about it again today in church, even though we didn't sing the song. I feel he's telling me something, and i'm beginning to understand it.

I'm trying to read through my bio notes now but i have so many distractions and thoughts going through my head, so i shall poor them all out in this entry before i continue on with my "studying".

It has finally dawned upon me that olevel results are coming out this friday, and i'm beginning to feel scared. I'm thinking of what if i don't make it back into acjc, and what if i don't ever get to see my friends again, and what if i don't ever get to hang out with my og mates again. Last friday our og went to holland village to celebrate bryan's birthday (happy birthday bryan!), I enjoyed ever single minute of it, even though i was extremely exhausted. And i kept laughing my head off at the ac barker joke about "boy, don't shy shy."

OKAY ANYWAY.
Had training in the morning yesterday, yes, i have started training, nothing fantastic to blog about, but i just feel as if the "passion" for the sport i had for the last 4 years isn't there anymore.

went shopping at far east after that for new year clothes. I'm loving my new buys!

Okay fan-girling has taken over me once again. I have burnt a hole in my pocket by pre-ordering dbsk's japanese album, which i think is one of their best albums ever after listening to the previews of a few songs. What really sucks is because the album was not over this certain price, so i had to pay for shipping fees, that prompted me to pre-order changmin's single to entitle my order to free shipping. And i have NO IDEA what changmin's single is, but i guess i'll support him anyway!

sick.

Wow, looks like i have not been updating for more than 2 weeks. I'm unfortunately down with a really bad cold, and i'm right now resting at home while others are at... school. So to prevent myself from dying of boredom, i shall update.

So many things have happened this past 2 weeks, it's almost impossible to blog on everything.

On the first saturday of 2008 i woke up darn early to send steph off. I'm missing you already steph! Hope you have fun in beijing!

Oh yes and there was orientation. I'm too lazy to upload all photos, so i'll just post one really random one of our group at kap. I say, ac has done a really good job of brainwashing their students. It has not even been a month yet and i feel as if i'm part of the ac family already.

So last tuesday we went back to mg because our lectures ended at 1.10pm. Seriously, i don't feel like i'm missing mg alot, in fact, i'm glad i'm out of the school already. Saw alot of new teachers in school. Plus our favourite mrs sim, but what do you know she just walked past me and jac without even saying hello.

This week is lectures only week. Wow and our classes are out already. This made me regret not working hard enough for prelims, but at least i have 4 other mg girls with me!

The medicine i'm taking is making me drowsy. Shall take a nap now =)
Oh yeah, i just remembered i had this really hilarious dream last night. I dreamt that SM held auditions in singapore, and i actually went for it. It's too embarrassing to say more heh xD

2007 was a really tiring (but rewarding!) year, i'm glad it's over. My only wish for 2008 is to not spend new years eve alone again in front of the tv, ~~but maybe with someone special! LOL.~~

PCN = OH MY MAMA.

first, i have to say...
PCN ALMOST KILLED ME.
imagine not exercising throughout the whole of december holidays, no wait, since september, and suddenly one fine day you go on a 42km cycling expedition. whoa, i almost died. Instead of getting toned thighs, i got 2 huge orchehs the size of 2 fists as a reward. screw you bicycle seat! But thank goodness there were no casualties, and i'm proud of myself for completing such a distance!

i got some of these pictures from mel's and yanshan's blogs.

so this is the whole route we took.

on our way to east coast park. ain't we happy!

so basically we started off at east coast park around 10.45am. Mel became my model for pictures because we both stopped a few times along the way to take pictures while the rest just zoomed off.

1 hour into cycling we were already quite exhausted haha.

ok so after lunch, me and mel, the 2 super slow snails, got lost, so we had to wait for the rest to come pick us up.

we had to push our bikes up don't know how many bloody overhead bridges like this one.

me tired. didn't really take that many pictures after lunch cause i was just so tired!

this bridge was a killer. we had to carry our bikes up. thank goodness an angel in disguise (ZHIX IT'S CM I TELL YOU!) came and helped us carry 3 of our 5 bikes up. thank you so much uncle! Another angel in disguise (ZHIX I THINK IT'S HERO!) offered to carry our bikes down the other side but we felt so paiseh to ask for his help.

if the person who created the PCN sees this, PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS STUPID OVERHEAD BRIDGE!
